PRESIDENT

Joanna is excited to take on her first year as PTA President at Llewellyn! As a flight attendant and mom of a 1st and 5th grader, she’s always balancing her busy schedule but makes time for what she loves most—spending time with her family, getting lost in a good book, and enjoying the wonderful community in our neighborhood. Her goals this year are to foster a strong sense of community and encourage more people to get involved in supporting our school. She’s looking forward to a fun and productive year ahead!

VICE PRESIDENT

Iniray is a dedicated advocate for education and a committed member of the Llewellyn community. With a background in special education and experience as a K-2 teacher, she is passionate about ensuring that every child’s unique needs are met and that all students have the opportunity to thrive. Originally from Georgia, she brings a warm Southern accent and a deep-seated belief that all children can learn and succeed when given the right support.

Through her work and advocacy, Iniray continues to strive to make a positive impact on the Llewellyn community, championing an inclusive and supportive educational environment for all.

SECRETARY

Ashley Garcia is a mom of four with two kids at Llewellyn and our PTA Secretary. Known for her love of a good ’90s movie quote and her questionable handwriting, Ashley brings humor, heart, and creativity to the team. She used to have hobbies, but now sports schedules run the show—and if you’re looking for a recent photo, you’ll have to settle for a throwback! 

TREASURER

Lindsay Lopez is a passionate baker and a dedicated PTA treasurer, expertly juggling her responsibilities while raising two daughters. Known for balancing a whirlwind of chaos with a love for meticulous planning, she finds joy in organizing and being actively involved in her community. Lindsay’s life is full of energy, and she takes pride in both her personal and family commitments. Whether managing events, whipping up delicious baked treats, or ensuring everything runs smoothly, she pours her heart into all she does.

Kili Fern is our Class Leads Coordinator and this is her 4th year on the PTA. She has two girls at Llewellyn, in 2nd and 5th grade.

Portland native Elise Friedrich is the proud mother of a Llewellyn 1st grader and has been living the Sellwood neighborhood life for 12 years. When she’s not running her crochet business or managing the local BuyNothing group, she’s feeding her pandemic sourdough starter and making bomb pizza dough.  An introvert at heart, Elise avoids small talk like the plague—so, let’s skip the weather and dive straight into your relationship with your parents, shall we? Armed with her emotional support water bottle and Twilight trivia champion title, Elise is also an amateur bird nerd who’s always ready to point out a rare species.
